The Administrative staff works to support the teachers and the smooth functioning of the entire school.
The Administration is responsible for:

  • Implementation of the policies and guidelines as developed by the Board and College of Teachers
  • Communication with parents pertaining to questions and inquiries outside the classroom
  • Coordination of: Parent volunteer work, Building use, facilities, Community relations and institutional outreach, website maintenance, newsletter creation and distribution, Enrollment, Fundraising, Record keeping & Day to Day operations
  • Maintaining awareness of administrative developments within the larger Waldorf community
  • Hiring, termination, and evaluation of administrative personnel

Administrative Chair - Director of Administration
The Director of Administration oversees the administrative staff and works in close collaboration with the College Chair as part of an administrative team which includes the Development Officer, Outreach/Admissions Director, and other administrative staff.

Executive Group
An administrative executive group made up of the Director of Administration, Director of Development, and College Chair meets on a weekly basis to review ongoing work and to strategize prospective developments and projects.
