The information below outlines our application process. Should you have any further questions,or to coordinate a private tour, please don't hesitate to contact Kelly Chappie, Admissions Coordinator (503.654.2200 ext 207).

  1. Call Kelly Chappie, Admissions Coordinator, (503.654.2200 ext 207) or email to request a tour. A visit to the School allows parents to experience the facilities first hand and ask questions.
  2. Participate in an Introduction to the Early Childhood event or Open House.
  3. Complete the Parent Child application and pay the $100 deposit fee OR
  4. Complete the early childhood application and pay the non-refundable $50 application fee.
  5. Mail application to Portland Waldorf School, 2300 SE Harrison Street, Milwaukie OR 97222 or fax it to 503-652-5162 and mail check separately.
  6. Upon receipt of the application, you be will contacted  to schedule your participation in one of our group interviews with the parents and child. The interview allows the teacher to become acquainted with the family and the parents to ask questions.THE FIRST GROUP INTERVIEW WILL TAKE PLACE ON FRIDAY, DECEMBER 13th.
  7. After the child's acceptance into Portland Waldorf School, meet with a representative of the school to complete the enrollment & tuition contract including the tuition adjustment form (if applicable), immunization forms,  and parent involvement form. All forms must be completed and your fees and tuition deposit must be paid before your child/ren may attend class.
  8. Upon enrolling, you will receive an Early Childhood Handbook, PWS Parent Handbook and Directory, parking sticker and school event calendar.

Our after school care program is very helpful for many parents.
