For High School grades 10-12

  1. Contact Kelly Chappie, Admissions Coordinator, (503.654.2200 ext 207) to request a tour. A visit to the school allows parents and students to experience the facilities first hand and ask questions.
  2. Complete the high school application. Complete the fillable PDF, print it, then mail it along with the non-refundable $50 application fee. If you are a current PWS family the application fee is waived.
  3. Mail completed application to Portland Waldorf School, 2300 SE Harrison Street, Milwaukie OR 97222 or fax it to 503-652-5162 and mail check separately.
  4. For students 10th-12th grade: Upon receipt of the application, the Admissions Coordinator will contact you to schedule a shadow (of up to 3 days) for the student and an interview with the parents and student. The interview typically takes up to an hour and allows for a representation of High School teachers to become acquainted with the family and for the parents and student to ask questions.
  5. After the child's acceptance into Portland Waldorf School, parents will meet with a representative of the school to complete the enrollment & tuition contract, sign the High School Handbook, immunization form, parent involvement form, and tuition adjustment form (if applicable). All forms must be completed and your fees and tuition deposit must be paid before your child/ren may attend class.
  6. Upon enrolling, you will receive a Parent Handbook and Directory, parking sticker and school event calendar.

After you complete your application, you may also apply for tuition assistance. Ask for our tuition assistance pamphlet for more details.

"Waldorf education is learning in its purest form. The difference is things are taught in a manner that requires true thinking, not just memorization."
