Inspirations Musical Theater Camp

http://www.rovainenmusicals.com/

Inspirations Musical camps welcome students to explore their theatrical expression through lively theater games, acting, singing, and learning then performing an original full-length musical. This year's show, The Princess and the Pauper, by Waldorf teacher Torsti Rovainen, blends drama, humor, action, and fun. We give students fun, challenging, age-appropriate roles, have a great time (movement and art are also part of camp), and put on a wonderful performance at camp's end.

o   Open to students entering grades 2-11

  • Students entering Grades 7-11 are in our Bards and Buskers camp for engaging theater games, lively acting workshops, and rehearsing a variety of lead, supporting and group roles in our production.
  • Students entering Grades 2-6 enter Muses and Mummers camp for lively, dramatic and fun theater work, including rehearsing for our camp's show. Afternoons the first week and a half are art and/or movement activities.
  • The two camps increasingly come together the second and third week to rehearse for our combined show.

o   July 7-26 (Mon-Fri, with final Saturday afternoon performance), 9-3:30pm
Performances are Friday, July 25 at 7pm and Saturday, July 26 at 1pm.
