With the cool months approaching and the days becoming darker and shorter, many of us spend more time in the solitude of our individual homes. Yet the cold season is also a time to celebrate inner light in the midst of the outer darkness
of the approaching winter.! What better way to do this than to recognize the many festivals and holy days of this time of year with a gathering of friends all creating together and sharing their inspirations and ideas for hand made crafts and family traditions?
All parents are invited to join their fellows for The Heart of Advent, an afternoon of holiday craft making on Saturday, November 12th from 11am to 4pm.
No experience necessary!
Share your traditions of Advent, Martinmas, Hanukkah, Diwali, Solstice, Kwanzaa,Saint Nicholas Day, Christmas or any other special observances your family celebrates.! (Bring a story or pictures to post or even simple craft ideas of your own!)
If you’re not able to leave your little ones at home, a number of high school students will be available on-site to care for them while you relax into the warm and welcoming company of fellow friends and parents of your Waldorf community.
