Why Waldorf High School?
The PWHS curriculum is designed to create a more harmonious, whole-being experience that bolsters discernment, leadership and adaptability in adolescents as they navigate high school and beyond. In short, it is the education that our teens need now.
Waldorf education is designed to cultivate a polymath mind that recognizes mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, history, language, poetry, music, art, and architecture, among other disciplines, not as isolated fields of knowledge but as interconnected expressions of a larger, universal truth. We seek to cultivate this broader wisdom and intelligence in our students through a multidisciplinary education that includes many subjects taught to an AP-level. Our approach helps them see connections, think deeply, and develop a more complete understanding of the world.
We know that Waldorf students can do anything, because they’ve worked at everything! Here, they get to do it all. Come see for yourself how we can support your student in becoming who they are truly meant to be.
