A Community of Giving
"A healthy social life is found only, when in the mirror of each soul the whole community finds its reflection, and when in the whole community the virtue of each one is living." - Rudolf Steiner
Community is everything at Portland Waldorf School, and every act of giving makes a difference. Your generous gifts strengthen our vibrant school and directly support our students, teachers, and families, including more than 29% of our student body who receive tuition assistance.
Our annual Community Fund and CARE Campaign are essential giving opportunities, and our Fred Meyer and BottleDrop programs are ways to give while you shop locally.
Our Community Fund is the vital heartbeat of our school’s support system, helping close the gap between tuition funding and the true cost of providing a quality Waldorf education.
Your annual gift helps us purchase classroom supplies, offer professional development for teachers, complete campus improvements, and expand our tuition assistance program. All we do and everything our students use is funded in part by the Community Fund. Thank you for your support!
CARE stands for Campus Additions, Renovations and Enhancements.
Our current families and extended community give to the CARE Campaign through donations and also time spent caring for the buildings and land where our school resides.
The CARE Vision supports the sustainable growth and care of our school.
