PWS Admissions Overview

Welcome to PWS Admissions. We’re so glad you’re here!

The beginning of every application process starts with a connection between someone on our admissions team and your family. The simplest way to begin your discovery journey with us is to fill out an inquiry form. If you prefer to begin the process by speaking on the phone, you can book a call here.

Either way you reach us, we can’t wait to welcome you for a visit to our beautiful seven-acre campus, which is the best way to explore our school community.

Admissions Process Overview

Our admissions team aims to make the application process as seamless and heartfelt as possible. Here’s what to expect along the way.

  • The first step in the process is a connection with our admissions team. Connect with us by submitting an inquiry form now or booking a call.

  • Either way you reach us, we can’t wait to welcome you for a visit to our beautiful seven-acre campus, which is the best way to explore our school community. Once we’ve received your inquiry form, you will be prompted to create an account in our online portal, where you can schedule a tour.

  • Once we’ve had a chance to connect, you’ll be invited to fill out the online application through our online family portal, PWSConnect. During this process we will request school records and recommendations.

  • The student visit is an important part of the admissions process, as it provides an opportunity for connection and insight—for both your child and our teachers.

Early Childhood: During these short play dates, teachers get to know your child and your family.

Grades 1–8: Your child will be warmly welcomed for a three-day shadow visit to their grades classroom.

High School: Applicants are invited for a morning visit to get a feel for student life and connect with peers and teachers.

  • Once the application process is complete, our admissions team will be in touch with a final decision.

  • Families of students who have been accepted will receive a contract. The admissions team will warmly welcome your student and family to Portland Waldorf School!
