PWHS Class of 2026

We are particularly proud of this group of graduating seniors and how they have made the most of their time here at PWHS. There was much to navigate beginning high school in the pandemic era, and each of them persisted through challenges with grace and resilience.

Their school choices, listed below, reflect our school’s strength in guiding students to identify their ideal college qualities, including major, location, and return on investment. Below their school choices, you will find an extensive list of school acceptances. We publish both to illustrate the above stated strength of our school: that while our students are accepted into some of the top schools in the country, they may make the choice to attend another school if it is better aligned with the path they want to pursue. We couldn’t be more proud of them!

Here’s where our 2026 Graduates are headed after PWHS:

Griffin will attend the Honors College at Oregon State in Corvallis, beginning his studies toward a career in medicine.

Kate will attend Seton Hall University in West Orange, NJ, where they will study science and medicine.

Maxine plans to take a year to work and consider her interests and next steps.

Sam will attend Lewis & Clark College here in Portland, looking forward to deepening his interest in history.

Reuben will be attending Washington University in Saint Louis, and looking forward to exploring his many diverse and connected interests.

Joel will attend Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY, and begin their study of Architecture.

Asher plans to take a gap year, anticipating heading toward flight school and becoming a pilot.

Marie will be studying at the University of Portland, pursuing her interest in nursing and helping people.
